Hard Work U Selects ImageNow

College of the Ozarks has selected Perceptive Software’s enterprise document management for deployment in financial aid and admissions.

SHAWNEE, KANSAS — (24 Mar 2008) Perceptive Software, creator of ImageNow enterprise document management, imaging and workflow software, today announced the College of the Ozarks has selected ImageNow for implementation in its financial aid and admissions offices.

College of the Ozarks, located in Point Lookout, Mo., is a four-year liberal arts college, dubbed Hard Work U for its innovative student work program which has driven campus operations for more than a century. Each of the nearly 1,400 students enrolled at College of the Ozarks is placed in one of the college’s 80 workstations each semester and is required to work 15 hours per week. In exchange for their hard work and dedication in and out of the classroom, each student graduates debt-free.

The college will initially implement ImageNow in its Financial Aid and Admissions offices, utilizing Perceptive Software’s LearnModeTM technology to non-programmatically integrate ImageNow with Jenzabar EX. College of the Ozarks searched for a document management solution to help the college transition from paper and manual processes to a more efficient electronic document repository.

“ImageNow offers a secure document management solution that will allow us to create a document retention policy, which will not only help us comply with several records retention guidelines but also improve our document purge process,” said Debbie Henderson, College of the Ozarks director of IT.

With ImageNow, College of the Ozarks employees will have instant access to documents from within their familiar Jenzabar EX application, helping the institution improve processes and efficiencies. After its initial deployment, the college intends to expand ImageNow into its registrars and business offices.
